Nail Gun Servicing
Like all fine turned tools, nail guns require regular servicing and maintenance to keep them
working at their best. The main bulk of maintenance involves stripping, cleaning all components, reassembling with new seals, and critical oiling of moving parts. This will keep your gun working reliably, and as the manufacturer intended. -
Routine Repairs
Wear and tear an inevitable consequence of regular use. Whether a broken switch needs
replacing or a framing nailer has been dropped off a roof, we can fix all issues. With our large stock of needed spares, our turn around times for repairs will not interfere with busy work commitments on your side.

Important Shipping Instructions
If possible put the tool in the carry case. Then please pack the case securely in a cardboard box for safe arrival at our Service Centre.
Please insure you enclose full name, address and contact telephone number. You also must remove all gas, batteries and chargers to use our service.

How do I get my nail gun to you?

How long will you keep my gun?
Average turnarounds within a week, only holdups would be delays with sourcing some parts due to difficulties post Brexit.
Why won’t my nail gun fire after it’s been serviced?
A frequent and easily remedied problem is replacing out of date gas, or on a cold morning the gun will not fire if the gas can is to cold.
How much does a nail gun service cost?
Standard Paslode servicing is priced as follows:
Paslode IM360: €100
Paslode IM350: 90
Paslode IM350+: €80
Paslode IM250: €80
Paslode IM65+: €70
For any repairs needed in addition to a standard service we will contact you with a quote, before we go ahead. Prices will obviously fluctuate a little due to any extra parts required. Any part which we replace will be returned to you with the tool on completion.
Tom Skinner
A Welsh man living on the West Coast of Ireland. Tom Skinner came here to surf 20 years ago and has built up a large repairs business over that time.
Trained as a car mechanic as a young teenager, from making the tea, up to being a fully qualified City + Guilds Motor Mechanic. After moving to Ireland in his late teens, Tom shifted into the construction tool hire industry. Completed extensive training on nail guns of all kinds, but specialised on the ever popular Paslodes. Over the years he has gained much experience in all types of nailers, from concrete and steel Hilti Guns, right down to the delicate finishing and framing timber nailers.
After 15 years in repair workshops, spanning over both Irelands construction boom and bust... in 2012, Tom finally got the keys to his own space, and for the last 10 years has enjoyed the freedom of being his own boss.
With hundreds of new and repeat clients across the Northwest, Tom is now expanding nationally, offering his repair and service expertise across the rest of Ireland. Your guns are in safe hands.
